WHO WE ARE
The Carrington Heritage Foundation is a United Kingdom non profit organiation, incorporated for educational charitable purposes,  under section 30 of the Companies act of England and Wales.
Registeration No. 05979985.

This organisation was formed to help combat the rapidly increasing levels of poverty, crime, hunger, disease and even the continuous denial of "voice" in the developing world. We believe that a great proportion of these social ills can be attributed to the ultra high degree of ignorance found in those regions of the world. The lots of so many people the world over therefore depend on and can be greatly improved by giving them more access to quality education.

A lot of world charity programmes today take the "curative" approach to aid which we must agree is very commendable but we would rather use the "Preventive" approach. There will be no long term solution to world poverty and social deprivation unless the root cause of the situation is addressed.

The rationale behind our ideology is to arm people with right tools to liberate themselves from the negativity around them rather than offering them temporary respite.... we all are aware that it is always better to teach people to fish rather than hand them one for dinner.

WHAT WE DO
Upon the subject of education, not presuming to dictate any plan or system respecting it, I can only say that I view it as the most important subject which we as a people may be engaged in.

Our organisation generally helps citizens of developing countries here in the United Kingdom and Overseas to achieve their educational pursuits. We are divided into two main teams.

One specifically looks after international students currently studying in England. For students already in the UK, we have specialist staff that deals with most student issues, ranging from Home sickness, cultural shock, loneliness, relationship building, social integration and other psychological and emotional issues which if ignored can be very detrimental to the mental state of the student as well as their education. We also give advice on career progressions, stress from studies and most importantly providing needy students with emergency financial hardship funds. We understand how great a challenge it is to live and study in a country completely different from yours in so many ways.

The second team is completely focused on our overseas pursuits. They are charged with finding new ways of reaching out to potential students who are able, desire and are genuinely passionate about studying abroad but may not have the financial capability to do so. We periodically come up with new funding opportunities for citizens of different countries around the world. We try our hardest to make it as accessible to everybody irrespective of their age, gender, ethnic origin, religion, areas of personal interests and specialization, sexual orientation, physical abilities and most of all their social status. We aim to provide a package that is indeed "fit for all."

MISSION STATEMENT
The Carrington heritage Foundation is a charitable organisation that helps towards the liberation, enlightenment, and empowerment of people in less developed countries around the world through the powerful weapon that is education .A properly educated individual will shine a light for others to see in a world that is crippling under the weight of ignorance, poverty and inequality in and amongst nations. Education is freedom!
